Concepts

We bring on board ideas from many projects over many years. Add to this, our knowledge of materials, finishes, styles, and passion for what we do, and we can usually start to develop a 'concept' and a 'brief' for a project fairly quickly.

Concepts can originate from many places, as any creative person knows, but one thing i have learnt over the years, is that great buildings come from a collaboration of a good designer, and a good client. When the knowledge and skill of a designer can express the client's vision, in a built form, into something they both may not have seen, it is amazing.

Designs

Another fun part. We can bring together ideas from the client, our travels, previous projects, anywhere really. The concept might evolve from the building

This is a great space to write long text about your company and your services. You can use this space to go into a little more detail about your company. Talk about your team and what services you provide. Tell your visitors the story of how you came up with the idea for your business and what makes you different from your competitors. Make your company stand out and show your visitors who you are.

3d Environment

We use a 3d modelling package called Archicad. Every project, after we have settled on a design from the sketch stages, gets 'constructed' as a virtual model. This model, as it develops, has proved to be an invaluable tool to give everyone an intimate, realistic, 3d view of any part of the proposal, no matter what scale the project is.

Once we have an accurate virtual model, we can check everything, clearances on stairs, shadows on the neighbours windows, height planes for Council, what that finish looks like on the Kitchen bench, or the window framing. You can 'walk' through the model, you can test finishes, landscaping, colours, ceiling heights, lighting, furniture layouts, even paintings on the wall, and see this all before you think about building.

Construction Documents

After the 3d model is finalised, we can generate any amount of Plans, Sections, Elevations, Details, or 3d images, as requested or required.

We can complete all documents required for Council Applications, and co-ordinate Consultants documents which may be part of the Application.

We also have extensive experience in modelling and documenting projects that are not intended for Council. eg Office Fitouts, Historical Buildings, Retail Fitouts, Feasability Studies for Apartment buildings, Library Fitouts.
